How to Register

ABOUT THE REGISTRATION, SHUTTLE, ROOM AND MEALS FORM

For questions regarding registration, shuttle, room and meals, contact the registration manager by e-mail at registration@uri.org, by phone at (1) 415 315 9549, by fax at (1) 415 561 2313, or by Skype at registration-uri.  If you need to leave a voice message, please speak slowly and clearly, and include  your country code, telephone number and the reason for your call. 


  1. Clearly print or type your information.  Fill out the form as completely as possible.  An asterisk (*) indicates a required field.  Each participant must complete a separate form.

  2. Make a copy of your completed form.  Keep one for yourself and send the other to the registration manager.  For credit card payments, you may scan and e-mail your form to registration@uri.org or fax it to (1) 415 561 2313.  If you are paying by check or money order, send the form with your payment by postal mail to URI Global Assembly, PO Box 29242, San Francisco, CA 94129.

  3. When you receive the confirmation by e-mail or fax, you will be reminded to complete the Participant Information form, with your travel plans, workshop interests, special needs and more.  Please complete that form and follow the instructions to submit the form.


REGISTRATION FEE:
Through April 30, 2008, top priority will be given to CC delegates, young leaders, trustees, staff and special guests in order to ensure a diverse representation of the global URI community at the assembly.  After that date and as space permits, the registration forms for additional CC members, affiliates and friends will be accepted in the order they were received.

Registration is significantly subsidized for URI members to enable diverse participation at the assembly.  The registration fee includes assembly activities, materials and group meals.

    1. Before April 30, 2008..........................URI members = US$225     Non-members = US$300

    2. From May 1 through July 31, 2008....URI members = US$275     Non-members = US$350

    3. After August 1, 2008...........................URI members = US$325     Non-members = US$400

  1. SHUTTLE FEE: Arrangements will be made for shuttles between Kolkata and Mayapur for an additional fee of US$20 round-trip.  To make your own transportation arrangements, visit the ISKCON Mayapur site at www.mayapur.com for a detailed list of the other options and prices.

ROOM AND MEALS FEE: Rooms will range from multiple-occupancy with a bathroom in the hall (dormitory-style) at US$15 per day to multiple-occupancy with a bathroom in the room at US$25 per day. We will do our best to grant your request, but due to space limitations, some requests may not be granted.  All meals are vegetarian only, please see How to Prepare.

DONATION: Please consider making a donation in addition to the registration fee.  Your contribution can help to underwrite the participation of someone who otherwise could not afford to attend.


CANCELLATION, SUBSTITUTION AND REFUND POLICY

To issue a refund (less 20% cancellation fee), an e-mail or letter of cancellation must be received no later than October 31, 2008.  Any cancellation after October 31, 2008 will be billed at the full amount.  No credits are given for those who notify the registration manager of their cancellation after October 31, 2008 or fail to provide any notification at all.  Substitutions are allowed only with an e-mail or letter from the original registrant before November 17, 2008.  The registration manager reserves the right to rescind any registration, and in that event will return 100% of the registration fee.
